I have always believed that what we wear can change how we feel.

Before Soularsol, my world was beauty. For more than twenty years, I worked with bodies, skin, transformation and confidence. I saw first-hand how something external could unlock something internal. A shift in posture. A little more courage. The feeling of recognising yourself again.

That idea has stayed with me.

Soularsol is, in many ways, an evolution of it.

I have always collected jewellery. Not necessarily the most valuable pieces, but the ones that hold something. A ring found while travelling. A chain that reminds me of a particular summer. A charm bought because, for reasons I could not quite explain, I felt drawn to it.

I love objects that seem to carry a life before they reach us.

Ancient coins. Weathered metal. Symbols repeated across centuries. Pieces that feel unearthed, inherited or discovered somewhere far from home.

Travel has shaped so much of my visual world. The faded heat of Ibiza. The mythology and ruins of the Mediterranean. The colour, craft and sacredness I have encountered in India. The symbolism and handwork of Mexico. The artistry, ritual and craftsmanship of Bali. Australia's relationship with light, land and ease.

Markets, beaches, museums, places of worship, dance floors, hotel rooms and roadside finds.

I am fascinated by the places where beauty and meaning meet.

By the way humans have always adorned themselves.

For protection.

For status.

For memory.

For ritual.

For pleasure.

Simply because something made the soul sing.

That is where the name Soularsol comes from.

SOULAR

is the energy that comes from within.

The moments, places, people and pieces that stir something deeper. The things that make your soul sing, that return you to yourself, that remind you when you feel most alive.

SOL

is the sun.

The ancient source of warmth, light and life. The force we have followed, worshipped and lived by for millennia. The energy that feeds the earth, turns our faces towards the sky and leaves its trace on everything it touches.

Soularsol exists somewhere between the two.
